Will NJ Governor Sign Gambling Bill?
The future of the Internet gambling at online casinos is approaching more quickly than we may think it is. For example, on March 3, 2011, that is the official deadline for Gov. Chris Christie to either sign or go ahead and reject the online scene of gambling Bill that has been placed in front of him. If he let the deadline pass without taking any action, the bill will technically be accepted and will automatically move forward and become an official law. But, at this point in time, things are definitely not clear as to which way the governor will go. Many industry insiders are predicting that he will wait until the very last moment of the very last day before finally announcing his decision.
As more and more states across the United states attempts to adopt more progressive and liberal policies when it comes to governing online casinos and gambling activity that takes place over the Internet, no state has moved further in this regard than New Jersey. But, the future of the potential for this particular industry throughout the state hangs in the balance depending upon which way the governor chooses to act.
Many people have been speculating that they predict that the governor is making a great effort to consider all points of view and to approach this particular hill with a very open mind. With so much potential revenue on the line that could be raised through the adoption of this particular bill, it seems as it though this dire economy definitely points in the direction of approving the bill but, that is still just mere speculation at this point.
