Trump Supports Online Casino Regulation
Since the fight to regulate online casinos in America has finally been gaining attention and national headlines as it has been having here in Congress, many people and organizations are coming out to throw in their two cents and give their opinion on this controversial issue. One recent major mover and shaker to toss his two cents out for public consumption was the millionaire real estate mogul Donald Trump.
Trump, owner of three land based casinos in Atlantic City actually surprised several people buy it indicating that the online casino bill is a terrific idea. He thinks bet Internet gaming will benefit the public on a number of different levels. As a super savvy and well respected businessman, it will be interesting to see the how people and operators within the industry reacts to this approval.
Many land based casino operators are still very much opposed to allowing US residents to take part in the activity at online casinos. They feel that online gambling will cause them to lose their customer base of his argument when doing for some time due to the bleak and seemingly endless economic recession. Trump does not feel that much of a threat from the online casino industry.
He says that land based casinos that have good management should have nothing to fear from Internet gambling policies. It’ll be interesting to see whether or not his predictions and confidence in an increase level of competition will hold up as we move forward into the weeks and months ahead. Only time will tell at this point. But it is going to be a very interesting development for sure.
