Opposition Of Casino Laws Speak Up
While there has been much opposition among Republicans and other political figures who are in direct opposition to the regulation and legalization of online casinos in America, the truth is that more and more people are beginning to the knowledge that a prohibition of Internet casino activity is simply not going to be a feasible endeavor in America. This is good news as we push forward further and further toward getting the UIGEA repealed and the HR 2267, the representative that Barney Frank has been bringing to Congress, pushed all the way through committees into law.
It seems that even the top most outspoken Republicans who are the biggest enemies of expanding and making the laws for online casino gambling more progressive have been demonstrating how putting a full ban on activity at Internet casinos is simply not going to work. While these people who speak out against gambling try to describe anecdotes that showcase the dangers of gambling, they are simply proving that the UIGEA has done little to no good in terms of curbing gambling behavior or blocking access to many casino sites.
This is truly an interesting development and will be interesting to see how the government and the general public react to these viewpoints that have been shared. Many fans of online casinos are waiting and waiting patiently for access to their favorite sites on a legal level in America and hopefully that they will be here soon. For now all we can do is wait patiently in give our support to the efforts of Barney Frank and Congressmen like Jim McDermott met who have been pushing for this change for quite some time.
