New Hampshire Shows Casino Progress
It seems that setbacks have occurred in the effort to create a more hospitable environment for online casinos in America. The latest state that is taking issue with plans to install slot machines is New Hampshire. In particular, their governor has pooh-poohed this plan and has indicated that surprisingly enough he would rather regulate online casino gambling.
A spokesperson for Gov. indicated that he is preparing his own casino gambling proposal that is going to be released in the very near future. Included in this proposal is online gambling. Who knows what this could mean for the future of Internet casino activity across the rest of the United States, but this could mean big improvements in access to online casinos in the state of New Hampshire. For operators and players across the entire industry, this comes as welcome news.
We will take whatever we can get. One setback has popped up though and not involve the fact that the Governor of New Hampshire has indicated that he will go ahead and veto any law that gets proposed that includes slot games as a portion of the gambling expansion. For some reason, this particular aspect just does not sit well with the governor.
He has made it clear that he will oppose a broad dirt or more liberal probably proliferation of gambling in his state. If this effort moves forward, most likely taxes would beat put on Internet casinos that choose to conduct their business within the state of New Hampshire. This is a typical scenario for online gambling that simply excludes regulation.
