Mercier Leaves PokerStars
Sometimes it is a hard road to hoe for the professional female players who figure highly in the realm of online casinos and poker rooms. More often than not, the male-dominated energy can be a lot to handle day in and day out at online casino and poker gambling sites. Some male players are not inclined to give their female rivals a fair shake or the same level of respect that they can afford to lavish on their male counterparts. Who knows what happened exactly with one of the top Canadian professional poker playing females, Isabelle Mercier, but she recently made the announcement that she was leaving Team PokerStars.
This came as quite a shot to the industry of online casinos and poker rooms since Mercier has put in no fewer than five solid years giving her all with the team from PokerStars. But Mercier has many other things besides just casino poker gambling on her plate. For example, she runs her own public relations company called No Mercy Productions. Some people have also been murmuring about the fact that she is on a path toward writing her autobiography that will be entitled Profession” Bluffer.
The book has already been published in French and she is also shopping around among some different film companies trying to see who will give her the best offer to buy the rights to her book. So things are going strong for Mercier in other areas of her career even if she did shock the casino gambling community by withdrawing from her place on the PokerStars team of professional poker players.
