During the recent European iGaming Conference and Expo that was just held in Copenhagen, major movers and shakers gather together to discuss a variety of topics that are pertinent to today’s market.
For the future of online casinos and Internet game going, their number of different hot topics and pertinent issues that cropped up throughout the conference. One of the main goals of the conference was to have industry insiders attempted to predict what the industry is going to look like in another five years once we come around here 2015.
By this point in time, the online casino industry will most likely change in a number of hugely substantial ways. For example, the United States gambling market could open up an usher in all new era of Internet gambling. Or, American government could stall and leave many people scrambling to try to figure out how to move beyond an American gambling market.
One of the major trends that most people were eager to predict is that there are going to be fewer and fewer major gambling operators. This could mean for a weaker market allows for less creativity and competition as far as online casinos and operators are concerned. Many people would view this as a very negative development but it will be interesting to see what actually happens in the coming years.
There have been a number of huge majors between some of the top gambling operators such as when and party gaming. With a lack of buyers and a dearth of small operators, the Internet gambling market could shift to become something very heavily controlled and straightforward. This would not necessarily be a win-win for everyone involved.
