Sports Legends Challenge Postponed Till 2010
Thursday, September 10th, 2009It seems that for all of those hardcore fans of online casinos, poker and sports, the magic will have to wait a little bit longer. That is all because a recent decision was made to postpone the inaugural Sports Legends Challenge.
It was set up as a sort of ultimate fantasy for anyone who appreciates online casino poker gambling and would also love to have the opportunity to see some of their favorite sports heroes in action in another venue. But now this exciting casino poker event has been put off until sometime early next year. While that may seem like a long time to wait right now, those months are going to fly by and the rescheduled time for the Sports Legends Challenge will be here before you know it.
Fans of online casinos are always looking for new and exciting ways to combine their passion for sports and gambling. The rampant and runaway success of a great many internet casino sports book sites is a testament to that fact. While this event was slated to begin on this Monday and run through until the Thursday beyond that, it just wasn’t meant to be, at least for the time being. It was going to be held at the luxurious Atlantis Paradise Island Resort.
More than 25 different super famous and instantly recognizable sports legends were expected to turn out for the grand event. Some of the biggest names that had signed on included Kareem Abdul-Jabbar, Sugar Ray Leonard, Troy Aikman and Richard Petty to name just a few. In addition there was going to be a variety of different big names from the internet casino and poker realm as well such as Annie Duke, Johnny Chan, and Phil Hellmuth.
