2011 First Half Kind To Playtech
Things have been moving along at a steady and successful takes for the clever and crafty folks who work hard behind the scenes to run the show at the Playtech during the year of 2011. Although this has been rather challenging and dismal time in terms of revenue performance for a wide variety of operators of online casinos, the same cannot be said for Playtech.
Just recently, this fabulous and industry-leading online casino gambling software supplier released the financial results for the first half of 2011 to the general public. After adjusting for the €7 million impact of their withdrawal from the French gambling business, it seems that they have managed to have experienced an 18% increase for the first six months which ended on June 30.
Overall, during the first six months of this year, net profit of the Internet casino software our house company rose 2% up to €37.9 million. It is definitely a respectable accomplishment given the fact that we are still waiting through this bleak and seemingly endless economic recession. Other online casinos and software suppliers have not been nearly as lucky.
Some sites and gambling businesses have gone out of business and shut down their operations altogether. Who knows what this means for future as we move into this deeper and deeper into the second half of 2011, but the staff from Playtech are super confident and optimistic that they will do to achieve a steady and successful performance for the remainder of the year. For now, all we can do is speculate. Only time will tell.
